Our Solution

The process we take you through

For over 100 years we’ve designed and managed infrastructure, using our know-how to help businesses save on costs, while forging partnerships that have lasted generations.

But it’s our experience that makes us stand apart – delivered by people who know their stuff, and who are dedicated to asking as many questions as possible to deliver the right solutions for you – rather than just supplying quick ‘off the shelf’ answers.

From advice to on-the-ground planning, every customer we work with has unique needs and goals. And that’s where we begin our EV journey with you. Only after we have a thorough understanding of your needs and goals will we present back a proposal that’s not just fit for purpose – but goes above and beyond expectations.

Every time.

Our
Process

1. Discover

Through a combination of case studies, site visits, and demonstrations we listen to your story, share ours, and work together on an EV transition brief. This could be a combination of:

  • Capability presentations

  • Case studies and showcases

  • Site visits and demonstrations

  • A brief feedback report containing next steps

Reach out today for a no obligation meeting with our team of experts

2. Advise

Using tools to review your existing infrastructure and energy usage, we’ll analyse your specific EV needs, and then work with you to define the best possible solution. This might include:

  • Analysing existing fleet use and electric vehicle suitability (if required)

  • Analysing existing power usage, connection capacity and electrical infrastructure

  • Discuss charger locations and advise on suitability

  • Providing a cost benefit and environmental analysis on transitioning to EVs

Get in touch to take the first steps to understanding your EV infrastructure needs.

3. Plan

We’ll bring together a dedicated team for your project, including specialists if needed. We’ll then work within our agreed framework to arrive at more detailed solution architecture, exploring:

  • Draft electrical design and charger locations

  • Future capacity planning and external funding exploration

  • Liaising with sub-contractors

4. Install

We provide detailed design and planning documentation, and work through detailed installation logistics to install charging infrastructure on time and in budget. We’ll also:

  • Share detailed installation design and installation planning

  • Formally appoint sub-contractors

  • Set up site meetings, health and safety and project management protocols

  • Test infrastructure – then train staff on charger operation

5. Manage

We’ll run you through our dedicated We.EV Live platform for real-time insights into charger use and behaviours. You can access reports of key metrics, including environmental impacts. You can also expect:

  • Hands-on help and training

  • Friendly support and guidance

  • Easy access to We.EV Live dashboard

Frequently asked questions

  • This is where our experience comes in. We.EV can certainly help you decide how many chargers, and what type, best suit the needs of your company within your existing power supply. We look at how far your vehicles drive day-to-day, and what combination of chargers will work best, without blowing budgets (or fuses!)

Typically, most companies with small to medium fleets are best served with one AC charger per vehicle, often with a small DC charger for quick top-ups when time is tight, and the range is running a bit low.

  • Yes, it’s usually not a problem. Get in touch and we can have a look at how the building is wired, and what the capacity for EV chargers might be. All our chargers come with dynamic load management devices that mean your EV chargers won’t pop the main building fuse, but still keep your cars ready to go.

  • No problem. Our chargers can be configured for use in a range of different ways. From “plug and charge” through to swipe fobs and PIN codes, we can set your chargers up in the best way for your business and location.

  • Yes. Reporting is easily managed through our We.EV online platform. This gives you a range of different power, CO2, and session usage data – as well as the ability to set up new fobs, change PINs and more.
